Post Malone and David Guetta locked for Weekend Festival

Next summer, the Weekend Festival will feature gigs by highly regarded international and domestic artists. The festival’s diverse line up offers a rare treats as 26-year-old Texas-based Post Malone and David Guetta, one of the most popular dance music pioneers of all time will take the stage. Post Malone is currently one of Spotify’s most listened to artists globally. His production has more than 70 billion streams. Guetta has sold more than 50 million records during her career, and his songs are streamed more than 3 billion times a year. Guetta danced the festive crowd of the Weekend Festival for the first time in 2012 and will do it again next summer in honor of the 10th anniversary.

Earlier in the week, the Weekend Festival announced a new venue in the Hämeenlinna Kantola event park and at the same time to expand to three day festival. The 10th anniversary of the festival will be celebrated from 1st to 3rd of July 2022.

Previously, the festival has announced artists to the festival, including Tove Lo, Nina Kraviz, Boy Pablo, JVG, Sanni and Pyhimys. All in all, more than 80 artists will perform during the three-day festival. The price of a three-day advance ticket is € 179. 3 day General Access tickets will go on sale on December 10, 21 at 9:00 AM. Tickets purchased for the 2020 and 2021 festivals will serve as admission tickets for the 2022 festival. The two-day tickets for 2020 and 2021 will give you a three-day bracelet at the 2022 festival.

The Weekend Festival is celebrated in the Kantola event park and in the adjacent industrial area. Overall, the Weekend Festival’s event area is the largest festival area ever held in Finland.
