Pendulum DJ Set and 20 other acts announced

Pendulum DJ Set

One of the most anticipated artists of Weekend Festival is returning to the Weekend main stage after a six-year wait. It’s the Australian Pendulum DJ Set, one of the most iconic electronic music bands of all time. The lineup, which has become a global phenomenon, is set to perform a show that will feature drum’n bass, house, techno, breaks and hardcore.

Ticket prices will go up on Monday, June 2nd at 11:59 PM. Now is the perfect time to secure your spot at the best party of the year – at an even lower price. See all announced artists here.

In addition, over twenty other foreign and domestic artists have now been announced for Weekend. Dutch techno DJ/producer The Rocketman has become known for his mystery and unique style, where 1990s rave music meets techno. British artist Hannah Laing, who performs at the world’s biggest festivals and clubs, specializes in energetic trance and hard house.

As is traditional, Weekend will also feature a large number of Finnish artists, including many experienced names but also several DJs/producers who are just starting out.

Milla Lehto is undoubtedly one of our country’s best-known techno and psychedelic trance artists. She will be bringing her FOR THE FLAME tour to Weekend, celebrating her 25-year career. SØNIN, a trance superstar with a strong international career, has also been seen at Weekend before.

In addition to the main stage, Future Stage and CNNCT Stage, Weekend will once again feature a fourth stage, specializing in Finnish artists. Among others, eight artists from the Luxonia collective will take to the Finnish stage, including Weekend Festival debutants JaySic, the big room master, Joysic, who brings a breath of progressive house from Jyväskylä, and Triple M, who is making an impressive career, whose songs have already collected over 20 million streams on Spotify.

Among the Luxonia artists that will enchant the Weekend festival crowd for the second time are Robbe, who is the fourth most popular EDM artist in Finland with over 1.5 million monthly streams on Spotify, as well as Axity, who has produced songs for many foreign record labels, Lionis, who has received support from several DJ Mag Top 100 artists, Walter Alan, who combines futuristic and progressive sounds, and the EDM duo Thomas Will, who is on the rise.

Also taking to the Finnish stage will be the harder techno master Galrav, and Marbez, who represents Future House, Miikka L, the trance master behind the Ravenation clubs, Pezsi, who represents dark and aggressively energetic tones, a joint set by Christian Arctica and Japster, who represent strong trance melodies, Midnight Purple, known for their distinctive house sounds, and DJ Mumin and Ketter, known for their energetic club gigs. In the middle of it all, Sydney-based DJ/producer MoveMINT from Australia will bring his own techno breeze.

The weekend’s headliners have already been announced, among others, Dutch DJ superstars Armin van Buuren and Hardwell, Germany’s most successful international solo artist of all time, Robin Schulz, and Australian top producer Fisher.

– Weekend Festival offers a great theme this summer, combining music and visual art in an unprecedented way. Stage structures and visual elements are once again at the center, highlighting innovative technology and art, says Weekend Festival Marketing Director Atro Anttila.
