03. Getting to Weekend Festival

The festival is located in Hietaniemenranta next to the center of Helsinki, Finland. The biggest landmark next to the festival site is Hietaniemi cemetery.

The walking distance of the festival is only 1,5 kilometers from the Helsinki Central Railway Station.

If you are traveling to the festival from outside of Helsinki we recommend that you use train. With train you will arrive at the Helsinki Central Railway Station where you can also collect your festival wristband at our wristband exchange point.

The closest airport is located at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. (Approx. 22km from city centre). P -train will take you to Helsinki city centre in approximately 40 minutes, directly from the airpot.

  • You can board Metro / Subway train to Kamppi Metro station (1,5km) from the festival site.
  • Bus nr. 24 will take you close to the festival area from Helsinki City centre.

If you are traveling to Helsinki from another city in Finland we recommend using bus services for a cost effective and cozy travel experience. You can find more information about Onnibus schedules and routes here

There is a parking area reserved for bicycles. The area will be guarded, but Weekend Festival doesn't assume responsibilty for possible damages to the bicyles.

There is no parking place available close to the festival area. We strongly recommend our customers to use public transport since we are in a very central location.

The entry gate will be on Hietaniemenkatu.
