The story of the Weekend Festival began in 2012, when the first chords of the festival were heard in Luukki, Espoo. It’s goal is to be the largest music festival in Finland in terms of number of visitors, but above all to be the most famous Finnish festival in Europe.
From the beginning, the goal of Weekend Festival has been to be the most European music festival in Finland – and it is also represented today. In addition to Finland, the festival has also been held in Stockholm and Pärnu.
To date, Weekend Festival has featured more than 750 artists from around the world and over the years, the Weekend Festival has gathered more than 750,000 visitors from more than 50 different countries.
