Weekend – 5.-7.8.2021, Helsinki
Weekend celebrates its 10th anniversary on 5.-7. August in Helsinki, Käpylä Sports Park. Weekend, which has become one of Finland’s largest festivals, is set in a new beautiful home, just a stone skip away from the heart of Helsinki.
Weekend will be held in Helsinki, Käpylä Sports Park on August 5-7, 2021. Please note that the gates can be closed about an hour before the end of the event.
In August, Weekend will celebrate its tenth anniversary in a central location in Käpylä Sports Park and the park-side outdoor areas of the adjacent Exhibition Center. They offer an urban and nature-friendly combination, which is now even easier for the audience to reach. The first performers of the festival will be announced during the spring.
WEEKEND OPENING CONCERT
Weekend opening concert will be held on Thursday 5.8. Those who have purchased a two-day ticket to Weekend before 1.2.2021 will be able to join Thursday’s opening concert without purchasing a separate ticket.
Tickets for the opening concert are on sale for 59 euros at Ticketmaster, Tiketti and Lippupiste.
The recommended age of the festival is 15 years. The festival area has separate drinking areas for people over 18 years of age.
The age limit in the Priority and VIP area is 18 years.
All tickets are exchanged for wristbands. You can pick up the bracelet from the pre-exchange point or the bracelet exchange point near the entrance to the festival. The locations and opening hours of the wristband pre-exchange points will be announced closer to the festival.
There are two cloaks for general use: one outside the festival gates and the other inside the festival area.
In addition, one cloakroom is located in the VIP area, which is for VIP guests only.
Volunteers are a big part of the Weekend’s soul! Hundreds of volunteers work at Weekend every year in almost all areas of the festival. Volunteers will be involved in making the festival mainly during the event week.
The start of the voluntary application will be announced on the Weekend social media channels and on the website closer to the festival.
